First Week of a New School Year

Great Escape opened it's doors with a flourish on Tuesday (September 7th). Parents of the older children were expressing the "it's finally here" sentiment, while parents bringing children for the first time were a bit tearing and leering of leaving their child. Some tears were shed by the children as well, mostly in the Bunnies and Lambs classroom. The teachers took advantage of any spare arms to comfort the children. The transition will take longer and be harder for some than others, but in a few weeks no one will remember. It will all be laughter and fun.
